Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS), a large, diverse, progressive school system located in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC, is seeking to hire a school psychologist for the 2017-2018 school year.  Although we welcome all qualified individuals to apply, including students who are ABD, we are especially interested in working with those from diverse backgrounds; those who have a strong interest in serving diverse children, families, schools, and communities; and/or graduates of training programs that emphasized the development of multicultural competencies.  Additionally, individuals who possess a strong background in providing mental health supports to students through an MTSS model are encouraged to apply.

Questions can be directed to Mr. Benjamin Fernandez, Lead School Psychologist (benjamin.fernandez@lcps.org), and Dr. Heather Applegate (heather.applegate@lcps.org), Supervisor of Diagnostic and Prevention Services.  Interested applicants should send a resume and cover letter or CV to Mr. Fernandez or Dr. Applegate.
