PREPaRE Workshop #1: Prevention and Preparedness:
Comprehensive School Safety Planning
Participants in the first workshop emerge with 1) common vocabulary and conceptual framework to guide coordination and planning, and 2) an understanding of the Crisis Management model advocated by the U.S. Dept. of Education, DHS, FBI, DOJ, and FEMA.
PREPaRE Workshop #2: Crisis Intervention and Recovery:
The Roles of School Based Mental Health Professionals
Participants in the second workshop emerge with hands-on practice using skills and strategies, and greater confidence that they will be able to help students recover from crisis incidents to resume learning faster.
